Arup’s work depicts the theme of global warming , focusing on the world water crisis. Although , 70% of the world is covered by water , only 2.5% of its fresh. Even then just 1% of this fresh water is easily accessible , with much of it trapped in glacier and snowfields. Only 0.007%of the planets water is available to fuel and feed a world with 6.8 billion people.

His paintings have the main aim to spread social awareness for the issue of water scarcity. He desires for a revolution which can only be achieved once everyone is aware of the crisis ahead of us. Biswas feels deeply about the subjugated plight of humans beings and the destruction of the earth’s natural habitat in the modern world. Arup’s message is portrayed with careful severity in his works in the bold ambition to spread awareness around the world.
