Based in Hyderabad , India, Asha is a self taught artist. ‘Better late than never’ perfectly suits this artist par excellence as Being a committed housewife , She rediscovered the joy of painting and found time to pursue her passion of art when her children approached their teenage years . She predominantly works with oil, acrylic and water colour . Creative figurative paintings with Rajasthani influence , on silk fabric using poster colours is her favourite .

Over the years she has varied the subject of her paintings but has been mostly drawn towards nature ,landscapes and flowers . Floral paintings are very therapeutic for her and as an artist she strongly believes they resonate positivity, calmness and a sense of being freed of stress and pressure . The vibrant floral colours have always enchanted her as an artist and she believes flowers have a magical way to transform our emotions . Apart from commissioned work , she has exhibited her work throughout India in various Galleries.
